Chester Meyer has served as koorleier and choir conductor at multiple institutions across South Africa. At Paarl Girls High School and Bloemhof Girls High School, he built disciplined and expressive choral groups that performed at concerts, festivals, and school events.

His conducting approach draws on formal academic training in music and a deep personal connection to South African choral and sacred music traditions. His master’s research focused specifically on the sacred music of the Griqua community, one of the most distinctive choral traditions in the country.
